Holzweiler Collage
By incorporating reused, redesigned, and recycled materials from past Holzweiler projects, the brand’s first archive store in Oslo has become a collage of past and present.
The building showcases a blend of various elements such as brickwork, paint, an iron sliding door, log beams, and wood inserts in the walls, all developed over time. The project prioritizes the conservation of original elements while incorporating repurposed materials into the interior design. The shelves and small tables were created through exploring how leftover textiles from the fashion industry could be repurposed. The material used, Kvadrat Really solid boards, is a combination of Holzweiler's surplus textiles and wool. Cashier and window sculpture are redesigned from the set design for the brands aw23 show, and carpets are crafted from leftover cuts. The sub capsules have been redesigned from old acrylic display boxes, and the blue table has been replaced from our Paris showroom.
