building in landscape
The architectural project is generated by the landscape, occupying the same area as the dried sand. The building follows the lines from the heather, moss, trees, and water, capturing the movements in the environment to create new conditions. The column follows the sensitive line and is replaced by a curved wall that closes the space between the small nuances, creating an insulated area that connects to the outdoor space on both sides under a thin roof. The intention of the architecture is to have horizontal planes of ground and ceiling with the landscape in between, with the form defined by the nuances of the site. The construction materials include aluminum for the exterior and interior, studwork, two-way beam structure, and strip foundation.
